Now that's what I call a faithful drawing!!! I knew she received a drawing from you and I was so curious, I wanted to see it and was about to ask for a digital version of it so I'm glad you posted it eventually without me having to ask! I wish I could draw like you...

aww Monica! if i lived in Hungary, i would give you the fine arts lessons! i would do it with pleasure because you have a talent, and we would progress with your drawing and painting skills very soon! it's not necessary to be a professional artist but if you like to draw you should draw and try to attend art classes just for yourself... if you want of course... Sorry, I've just noticed this post. Yes, when I look at your drawings I know that I definitely need those art classes! There's quite a big difference between self-educated artists and professionals. Hmm and maybe you could give me some advice online if you want to. My biggest touble is that I can't keep the right proportions.

oh Monica! of course i would give you some on-line advices, but it's inconvenient because of i must show and show and show you how to draw practically. The more you practise by yourself, the more you will succeed. it's a law. draw a lot, try to draw not only Martin, but also everything that surrouns you, begin with simple objects - pottery, trees, furniture, everything! spent on each sketch NOT MORE than 3 minutes. draw with very soft pencil, just lines without shadows. try to catch the right proportions of each object, and try to do up to 20 sketches per day. then, pm me and show your progress. consider it as your first on-line lesson with me! but should warn you - learning drawing is very hard working, the only one thing must motivate you -this is a vivid desire to learn to draw...

Aww, thank you Nargis, that'd be great! Luckily, I do have that desire you're speaking about! I'll have to take your advice and PM you with my sketches as soon as possible and you can judge them. That's so cool. Btw I do enjoy drawing almost everything but most of all caricatures of people. But I don't mind drawing trees or buildings if I must. So keep an eye on your PM's. I'm glad to be your student!

img]http://content.foto.mail.ru/mail/nartash/_blogs/i-326.jpg [/img]
Wow... I must apologize... I don't check the Martin section of the forum very often, but this is simply amazing. I love the black and grey ones... Especially the one of just his profile (and I don't even like him that much with his long hair lol), but his expression in the picture that you drew is so serene and amazing, and, if that word exists, it's very Martin-ish, totally like him, I'm truley jealous of your talent, it's wonderful
